Blossom and Bluebells

There’s nothing quite like a little bit of sunshine to warm the heart and bring joy to the soul is there?  I love this time of year when the days seem a bit longer, the air is filled with sweet birdsong and the branches that were bare for so long are suddenly bursting with colour and new life.

And bead inspiration is in abundance!  So here’s a sprinkling of newbies inspired by Spring, and the magic it brings with it…

Birds, roses and blossom!  Blossom for me is one of Spring’s sweetest flowers.  I love to stand under a blossom tree on a warm sunny day amongst the layers of fallen confetti-like petals and look up, through the clusters of pretty pink flowers, to the blue sky beyond.  What a wonderful feeling that is!

And then there are the bluebells…what can I say?!  I’ve loved bluebells for as long as I can remember! Standing on the edge of a wood and taking in the breathtaking beauty of their colour and gentle scent…there’s something very special about these delicate, fragile flowers.

I couldn’t resist making some more wild flower meadow pieces now that the sun is shining and the days are a bit warmer…there are more colours of these on their way!

And finally some happy beads in sunshine colours!

All of these are available here on my website as well as in my Etsy and Folksy shops…happy Springtime!

  1. Oh dear! My eyes have widened. That can only mean one thing. I think I may ‘discover’ a gap in my bracelet collection…..
